James Voyles is a self taught glass and jewelry artist originally from the Pacific Northwest.
He has been working with glass since 2000 independently and together with his wife Rachel. His art has a focus on nature and fantasy with some adventures into the grotesque and bizarre at times. James is always experimenting with new techniques and materials so his style evolves continuously with a wide range of styles and perspectives. His art is generally unplanned and whatever comes to mind flows out through the torch. Woven into his work are symbols, secrets and inside jokes that are open for interpretation. Most of all he strives to make a connection with his fellow humans as each piece has locked within it a part of his soul.
